Whiting to open its own website

Last month, the Select Board of the Town of Whiting gave its official OK to Elizabeth Curran's proposal for a municipal website. 

The site's official opening is scheduled for January, but much of it is already online. It includes meeting agendas and minutes, important announcements, a calendar of events and meetings, and a slideshow with high-definition aerial views of Whiting foliage. There is also a link to a history of Whiting.
